Coulthard

Analysis :
In an incredibly boring race, the McLaren pit crew won the race for a steady and consistent David Coulthard, allowing him to overtake the polesitting Benetton of Jean Alesi in the pitlane.
The procession behind them included all of the top runners who ran without incident (or overtaking) all afternoon.

The only drama in the entire event occurred when Johnny Herbert was punted off the road at nearly 200mph by Ralf Schumacher in a truly needless and stupid manouever.
