1) Under 2010 regulations 26 entries
(3 new teams- Campos, Manor and USF1) were accepted - due to BMW's withdrawal a fourth new team
(Lotus) was accepted.
2)
After a buyout of the BMW-Sauber team, the FIA accepted them as the first
reserve team.
3) Following Toyota's withdrawal, the Sauber team was granted an entry.
4) US F1 withdrew from the 2010 championship before the start of the season and
were not replaced.
